And of course each pin number is supposed to be unique and not written down anywhere. Well I am a good pin user and I would never write them down.
So when I got my ING bank card so I could use my thrive account, I dutifully memorized the pin number and then shredded it.
I then used my card the next day to ensure I had it memorized.
Then I went on vacation.
Then I tried to use my ING card and...nothing.
I forgot my pin!!!!!
So I called ING to get it reset and guess what. They don't reset pins! Instead they had to cancel my card and now they are going to mail me a new card and mail me a new pin. I was told to expect my card and pin within 2 to 3 weeks and if I want to change my pin then I have to use an ING bank machine (none exist within 3 hours of me).
GRRRR!!! I am so annoyed.
Oh no! I know what you mean though, there are just so many pins/passwords to remember.
